Dear friends
Have you ever bumped in to someone you know in a foreign country?
Or in a strange city?
Or if you live in a very big city like I do (more than 8 million people are living here), in a different part of your town?
If it ever happened to you, what was your reaction?
What were you thinking?
Perhaps something like “what a coincidence”?
Or have you ever thought about how many “coincidences” it took for you to meet a certain person, your spouse perhaps, or for you to be born to these parents in this country in this town and then go to school there and to uni there and then live in this place and make these friends?
Really, if you think about it, there cannot be any coincidence to any outcome or result in our lives at all.
I will give you an example:
in this very big city where I live, I once met a woman who seemed very nice, but also troubled. We spoke a bit. I asked her if she was ok and gave her my number and tried to get her to come to my church and speak to my pastor, but she didn’t. I kept talking to her anyway, but she hardly ever replied to my messages. Then, a few weeks later, I bumped into her again, in a completely different place… we spoke again, this time she cried… I again invited her to come and speak to my pastor, I asked if I could pray for her and she agreed, but she didn’t come to my church, and then one day, she stopped replying to my messages.
I thought I had lost her, but I kept praying for her and asking GOD to help her and to make sure that she is safe and about 1 year later, I bumped into her again – again in a completely different area of the city… she was alright and GOD had helped her… we talked and then didn’t lose numbers, just a little got out of touch and what can I say – we bumped into each other 2 more times over the next few months – on 2 different buses in again 2 completely different parts of the city.
I mean, in this case, we both know that GOD wants us to be connected.
And we speak a lot on the phone, pray together, not every day, more randomly… but we are connected through HIS love.
And today, when I was thinking about something which is on my heart at the moment, in fact, it is not something, it is someone, and I want to see him alone and want to have an opportunity to talk to him to find out more about him, and I used to see him a lot, but not recently – and I have been praying and fasting.
It was only today that I was reminded of all these “coincidences” in my life.
GOD can orchestrate anything and everything.
Even if my spouse lived on the other end of the earth, let alone the other end of the city, nothing is easier for GOD than to let us cross paths.
HE can do it.
And HE will.
IF he will.
And WHEN HE will.
It’s almost funny how everything I did to go out of my way hoping to meet this person and all of it went wrong.
But I will not worry anymore, nor will I try to “arrange” any “coincidental” encounters.
I will give it to GOD.
And also let HIM be GOD.
If HE wants us to, we will meet.
That’s all I know and all I need to know.
Even this famous scientist, who certainly did not want to reverence GOD in any of his quotes or findings, had to acknowledge HIS might and that HE truly IS the creator of all.
Let us pray:
Father GOD, YOU are the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end. You spoke and it stood fast. By YOUR word, the earth was created and everything in it. Thank YOU LORD for creating us, thank YOU for protecting us, thank YOU for sustaining us and for meeting our every need and also for your blessings. Thank you for hearing our prayers and for giving us our heart’s desires!
FATHER, we come before you today to ask that for YOUR WILL be done in our encounters, our conversations, our results. We ask that YOU will show us what it is YOU want for us and that YOU will very clearly also show us what YOU are trying to protect us from and if something we are pursuing is not your will, let us know LORD. But at the same time, we also trust that YOU will bring YOUR will for us and for our lives to pass, that YOU will let nothing stop YOUR plans for us to come true and to manifest and materialize through YOUR spoken word over us and through YOUR promises to us. We ask that YOU will make everything beautiful in YOUR time. In JESUS’ name I pray. AMEN.
I hope and pray that this will inspire, heal, bless and encourage you. And that THE LORD will bless you abundantly in every area of your life. That HE will keep you and shine HIS face upon you and bring you PEACE. In JESUS’ name I pray. AMEN.
