Dear friends
If you think about it, would you be surprised that I sometimes notice more of the enemy’s presence inside the church – yes, including my own church, including in the sermons and in the people and in all the meetings I attend there – than outside amongst unbelievers?
Let’s look at JESUS’ time.
The Pharisees for instance.
Where were they?
They were IN the churches and not only that, they DOMINATED the Jewish Church at the time!
Let me tell you something, this has not changed until this day.
Just like JESUS / GOD / THE HOLY SPIRIT is the same yesterday, today and forever, so is the bible and what it talks about still very accurate and precise and correct today.
At least that’s what I have come to find the more I study it – and I have only started to study it intensely about almost 6 years ago, those of you who have been born again for longer may find this even more so…?
Another example, the sins mentioned in the bible – are they any different today? Absolutely not. The bible also says there is nothing new under the sun.
Ok, let’s come back to the presence of the enemy within the churches.
As you may know if you have followed my blog, I have been to many churches during the past years since I have been saved.
Funnily enough (or maybe not!!), GOD made sure that I didn’t get saved IN a particular church, so that I would not be automatically bound to one and not automatically swallowing everything they are saying… some of you (and some pastors for sure) will probably say that I have pride and rebellion and that I need to settle down and submit to a ministry completely – but perhaps this is not what GOD wants for me?
Serving GOD – not a particular pastor – is all I am interested in.
And I do long for a church I can truly belong to, don’t get me wrong, I would absolutely LOVE to find my spiritual family, but so far, all I have found was very questionable ground…
I have been a member of the church where I currently fellowship for more than 1 year and what I keep encountering there is more than shocking!
I believe that the leadership there has the best intentions.
And I will leave it to this and speak more generally about what I have noticed, in all churches I have visited so far.
This should also not surprise any of us, because not only has it been like that from the beginning of church, that the enemy has been there, but also is it absolutely sensible and logical:
If you were the devil and you knew that the only people who could possibly defeat you are the ones who are truly born again and pure and holy and repenting of their sins daily and in very close connection with GOD nonstop, 24/7, where would you go to find them?
The ones who live in the world, including church-goers and not doers of the word, including lukewarm Christians, they all already belong to the enemy, so why go and look for them if he already HAS them?
Have you ever thought about why the devil is afflicting people and some are having a great and easy and disturbance-free life?
Well, if you are not attacked by the devil, let me tell you, it can only be because you have either fought and defeated him or you are belonging to him.
Let me say that again:
If the devil doesn’t attack you or never has, it is because he HAS you!
Back to where I was going:
In the church, the people there are the ones whom he needs to watch the most, because they could get truly saved and sanctified and holy and thus invincible and untouchable for him.
And this is exactly why he is making sure that as many of his agents are working in the church!!!!!
Maybe we need to hear this again:
The devil is placing his agents in the church, as many as he can and as high into the leadership as possible.
Some churches are completely run by satan and just going there will be similar to an initiation into his kingdom.
And when we look at some examples we will all agree with, it is completely obvious: white garment churches, Jehova’s Witnesses, Catholic Churches, Islamic Mosques.
But how about Anglican churches, some of the HUGE mega Churches – how many of you go there and believe that they are serving GOD? Or let me rather say, believe that the leaders and other people there are serving GOD?
Do you believe in order to have a very big and growing church, you can truly stay close to GOD or does it seem more likely for you that the pastor will lose followers and members if he preaches what will offend them?
And how about demons, evil spirits and the devil?
JESUS did the same thing everywhere HE went: HE preached, HE healed the sick and HE cast out demons.
Right?
How many of these things are happening in YOUR church?
Do you really think demons are no longer real?
Why would that be?
Give me one good reason for this.
WHY would we now all live in peace together?
WHY would all religions be the same when the bible says otherwise, when even the first commandment is not to worship idols?
WHY would GOD suddenly not be angry at idolatry anymore?
WHY would GOD no longer heal the sick, but rather send them to therapy and have them take drugs and do surgery all the time?
WHY would GOD no longer mind if people would take away from or add to HIS, when HE has pronounced a curse over these people in HIS word?
WHY would GOD no longer consider matrimony holy and adultery a sin (or even fornication)? Did they not have sex and sexual immorality in the old days when GOD forbid it?
WHY would GOD no longer warn us not to live in the world and pursue earthly riches?
What is the reasoning behind this?
Do we really believe that HE changed HIS mind????
Friends, I am not here to condemn anyone.
I, too, am guilty and need to repent of so many things.
But at the same time, I go to church and try to meet godly people in order to learn from them and in order to be edified and taught the will and the word of GOD.
It is hard though.
When the pastor is speaking about series on netflix and when I am the only one in every group who doesn’t have a TV, when people look at me as if I am an alien – I would expect this outside the church, but IN the church?
When I ask for prayer in a prayer group from my church to bring more Christians into positions in the prisons and 2 people are speaking up against my prayer point, then I know what time it is!!!
And let me not even get started about the “singles”-market, yes market, and about flirting and fornicating in the churches – they are a breeding-ground for fornication, adultery and sexual immorality.
THE HOLY SPIRIT has shown me lesbians (and witches) in my church, which is an African church – are you shocked???
Don’t be!
This is only the tip of the iceberg.
People living in (sexual) sin, living together without being married, sleeping together although being married to someone else, all this is happening all the time.
Even the testimonies – do they really glorify GOD?
Have we heard a lot about godly successes or are they mostly about career and promotion and more money?
Yes, we all need a job to pay our bills, 100% agreed.
But is it really so important that we are all CEO’s and managers?
Are we not in fact even more prone to become corrupted the more money we have or earn?
Just a thought.
I hardly hear any testimonies about deliverance, healing sometimes, but who is even praying for a closer walk with GOD and testifying about that when GOD has heard them?
And would these testimonies even make it into the “featured” few which are published?
Are we really surprised that we are still afflicted and tormented by demons day and night, dreaming about snakes, having all sorts of illnesses and emotional problems?
Yes, some of it comes from us having opened doors.
BUT so have the people in the bible and JESUS set them free in an instant.
So how come we are not being set free by “our” Man of GOD who is supposed to lead us and pastor us and shepherd us?
We are supposed to be safe and covered in the church.
Me, I did not experience a big change spiritually when I became a member of this church.
The teachings are mostly quite good, but the spiritual protective power is not very strong.
Although it is mentioned a lot, but the spiritual covering as a member of this church has not been covering me.
From what I have seen there in 1 year, I am not surprised.
I am still there is because GOD hasn’t instructed me to leave yet – at the same time, I am not even sure if there actually IS a good church.
And this is just about the leadership, not even starting to speak about the other members, or the leaders under the leaders…
It is from my own interactions with GOD that my spiritual strength is growing – from what GOD is showing me directly, when I seek HIM, when I do research on the internet, when I dive into the WORD, when I read about certain topics and educate myself.
And from a different ministry, which is unfortunately not in my country, where I get fed – this is a very strict doctrinal deliverance ministry. I am actually led to and will tithe there and not in the church which I attend physically – if GOD keeps telling me to.
But I can’t even be sure that my experiences there would be different if I went there physically…
What I am saying is not so much to criticize my current church – I have seen this or worse in ALL churches I have visited or even been a member of.
And what I am trying to say is, we need to be watchful, discerning and most of all, we CANNOT solely depend on other people, aka pastors and prophets, to preach the WORD OF GOD to us, to teach us about it and to give us a prophecy or a word of knowledge here and there and to pray for us sometimes, we need to have our own relationship with GOD, we need to learn to hear and to discern HIS voice and HIS SPIRIT, this is vital, especially in the times we are living in when there are more wolves in sheep’s clothing than true Man or Women of GOD!
Friends, don’t let the fact that you are in church cloud your vision and reduce your vigilance!
On the contrary.
I came to tell you today that you need to be even more vigilant against the wiles of the devil in the church, because there are so many agents of the enemy there.
From what I noticed and learned, there are even more agents in the church than Christians.
In the church is where I got hurt the most, because I come with an open heart and mind and then, they can prey on me easier – at least that was what it was like when I was a baby new born believer.
I may still be a baby to some of you, but I have grown more cautious, not everything that has GOD’s label on the outside, has GOD inside, too.
Not saying there aren’t any good people in the church. Hopefully, there are more than I have seen though!

What you say in the following excerpt is driving home this concept and pointing out how critically important it is right now in this darkest period of modern time to truly be alert, vigilant and discerning at all times.

We’re all babies because we are all so very helpless when we come right down to it and face the facts and stop putting on airs. We all break easily and will absolutely die at some point in the future! What can any of us even the greatest minds or most powerful leaders in the world do to stop death and provide all answers and needed directives to absolutely guarantee an eternal perfect afterlife to anyone? Nobody can; and many out there love to entice others with all sorts of messages or energy in their manner and speech, but, almost always it’s an illusion or even a smoke screen to hide what or who is really behind that curtain. Many humans are good con artists and even criminal as they do carry on in such a way; Satan that father of all lies is working his minions very well on earth to further deceive multitudes.
We know perfectly well the only flesh human being that ever walked upon this earth who had actually been prophesied and bona fide by eyewitness and much historical evidence as being the one and only being who could give us what we need most of all. And if we are truly humble being pure of heart desiring to know and then meet our God, entering through those pearly gates of heaven; which only Jesus Christ our Savior offered to us and will lead us to by our faith in Him alone!
Matthew 7: 13-15 “13Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14But small is the gate and narrow the way that leads to life, and only a few find it. 15Beware of false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.”
Getting back to what you have said here about so many falsehoods happening in churches and all around us in this more and more artificial contrived world, which has taken the old “Ways of The World” spoken about in Scriptures and exponentially amplified its corruption, deceptions, temptations as well as great frauds that the masses are now believing and following; putting false gods before God Almighty of the Ten Commandments and breaking that first one with many or maybe even all the rest in the process! Just think of sins of the flesh alone which can and will condemn multitudes to hell, how in the old days the proliferation was minimal, but now with video and digital communication platforms this evil is anywhere just about with a click, it’s even in pop music and so forth; with many more in this age being ruined by sins of the flesh!
I say sadly that the majority of the human beings are now in potential peril of being unworthy of salvation at all. Industrial scale abortion is now to the point of a full term helpless baby being murdered and what could possibly be any justifiable reason for it, especially one that God Himself would accept? There is none, and so humans are making sacrifices of human babies to the modernist man-made Beast System and thus Satan, who is the price of this world and who rules the flesh material sinful realm; even the blasphemous falsehood of a president Biden wants to push through Federal on Demand Abortion across the country; pure evil. This is exponentially worse than what pagan idolaters of ancient civilizations like the Mayan Empire did regularly!
We are told to be in the world but not of it and that is literally what it means and how we should live each day, but, sadly we do not; most are just going along for the ride and then faking belief and Trust in the Lord. It’s too easy to do and very convenient to have your cake and eat it too, and be as you said a Lukewarm Christian or Faithful Believer in Jesus Christ!
2 Corinthians 10:2-4 “2 I beg you that when I come I may not need to be as bold as I expect toward those who presume that we live according to the flesh. 3For though we live in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh. 4The weapons of our warfare are not the weapons of the world. Instead, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.”
Here is a portion of one of Billy Graham’s fine sermons that clearly defines what we are talking about here and should consider.
The warnings are clear. The Bible says in Romans 12:2, “Do not be conformed to this world.” The Bible teaches in Galatians 1:4 that, “[Christ] gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil age [cosmos].” In other words, the world was such a great danger to our souls that this danger caused Christ, the Son of God, to go to the cross to deliver us from it.
Throughout the Bible, the lines are definitely drawn between the world of unbelievers and the world of the children of God. “Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God” (James 4:4). Jesus Himself said, “The world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world” (John 17:14-16). Again Jesus said, “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you” (John 15:18).
The Bible also teaches that the Christian will face opposition in the world. “All who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution,” said the Apostle Paul in 2 Timothy 3:12. Just as Christ’s life with all its love, concern and selflessness was a rebuke to the cosmos of His time, so our lives with Christ abiding in us today bring about criticism, opposition and persecution from those who cannot comprehend the mystery of God’s redemptive grace.
The Bible teaches that we are not to be discouraged by this belligerence. We are to consider it evidence that we are identified with Christ. Jesus said, “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. This internet is a Devil’s Playground and so many are deluded or mesmerized by the click bait and followers routine; followers for what and to what avail? This is mostly frittering and wasting the time away, that precious time we have to make sure we have our houses in order for the Lord and are working diligently to serve the will of our Father in heaven who put us here for a purpose; His purpose; so when Jesus comes knocking on our doors we aren’t caught unawares!
I have a few previous blog postings I want to share that hopefully will shed a bit more of God’s light upon this subject and narrative you have eloquently presented here.
Discernment and spiritual awakening with the Holy Spirit speaking to us and in turn we hearing Him is the best thing to seek in order to stay on the one path that Jesus explained perfectly; John 14: 5- 7 5“Lord,” said Thomas, “we do not know where You are going, so how can we know the way?” 6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. 7If you had known Me, you would know My Father as well. From now on you do know Him and have seen Him.”
Let’s keep discerning and following the Holy Spirit not men or the system, but, still through discernment we can look for any good that exists in people or institutions and recognize any intrinsic good or value that God wants us to receive from them; learning to fully see God’s Truth in all things and make use of what he instructs us to, by His will alone; anything else will be not of God and we must reject it.
This world today is a very tumultuous quagmire and extremely dangerous for anyone, but, especially Christians who are being challenged and attacked from all directions! We must remember as long as we are in this battlefield our souls are in mortal jeopardy of being lost to eternal damnation. Too many people are nonchalant and think they are so on top of this professing to be good Christians, when they are just playing the game and are deceived or even deceivers; minions of the evil one.

Sister Eva! Thank you for writing this article so well and thank God it came to me just a little while ago and it was no accident or fluke it was divinely sent! Look I won’t beat around the bush even though I don’t know you. I don’t have to tell you we are in the most unprecedented of times and most everything is either off the rails or will be in short order, so my insights and tact have been adapting as best I can to hopefully only do our Father’s will, because I could end up in hell just like anyone else on this planet can! Sadly I have to be non-sugar coating and hardcore and say as I see and understand through my heart; so many are not going to make it to heaven and I mean multitudes, so this is when the rubber meets the road or the pooh hits the fan! I’m getting hardship more each week, now even on this Word Press, there are a lot of bad people running rampant on it and many phonies or crazies; because let’s not forget who runs this stuff and who runs them! Evil is rampant and guys like me are the ones they hate the most, I’ve had many years now of evil coming at me, but, I’m good and I say bring it on you devils! I fear nothing except God Almighty who will judge my soul!@~
