Dear friends
I am the last person to give glory to the enemy, but we also must be realistic.
He rules the world.
Not because he is stronger than OUR GOD and has defeated HIM – as he may want to make us bellieve and as he might even want to believe himself – no, that’s not the reason.
The reason is because GOD lets him.
Many times when I speak to unbelievers, the reason why they are finding it hard to believe that GOD is real is that HE is allowing so much evil and injustice and they are doubting HIM, even his entire existence because HIS thoughts do not make sense to them. But this is an entire different article for another time.
Let’s just see if we can agree for now that not understanding someone and concluding from not understanding this person that this person doesn’t exist is simply ridiculous, isn’t it?
It is even very childish – we will have a look at this chain of thoughts on another occasion.
Nevertheless, it is still true – both, that GOD allows him to and that the devil is ruling the world.
He is literally all over the place and in all of our affairs, deeds, businesses, thoughts, actions.
He has his filthy claws all over us, all around us, he is even within us through our thoughts and desires and dreams.
The question I want to look at deeper today is not why, but HOW?
HOW could the enemy take so much territory, in a literal and in a metaphorical sense.
When we look at all the false religions, it might becoe a little more clear regarding the geographical territory.
Take hinduism for example, or buddhism or islam – there are countries, if not continents where false religions are predominant and Christianity might even be forbidden and has to take place in the underground.
It is a network which has been tightly organized worldwide from the ancient days.
As we can see in Daniel chapter 10, there are princes of darkness over countries, and that is how satan controls all areas in all countries of this planet.
Obviously, GOD has his people everywhere, too, but they are not in the majority everywhere.
And even in the countries where Christianity would be allowed, we still have so many false religions to contend with it and even more false gods.
Money and success and career for instance.
When money has become the most important thing in someone’s world – and I can see many (fake) pastors and church members falling in that trap – it means that money is their god.
Or when we are so devoted to our career, when we have no time for GOD because we are working all the time – even if we are working for HIM, when it is not about HIM, it cannot possibly be FOR HIM.
Or our spouses and families.
Are we putting them before GOD?
That’s also a form of idolatry.
And then the more obvious ones, drugs, alcohol, promiscuous lifestyle, cheating, adultery…..shopping, netflix, social media, unclean music, spiritism….
Addictions, compulsions, depression, therapy… medical doctors…
All I can say is flesh, flesh, flesh – where human beings are, there is flesh and there will always be the war between the flesh and the spirit.
WHO is our number one?
Who do we trust in for everything?
Who do we run to?
Whom do we ask for help or turn to for solutions?
WHO can truly say that GOD, OUR GOD is the absolute #1 in their life?
That they are seeking first the kingdom of GOD?
That they love HIM and keep HIS commandments?
Me. I am catching myself doing things GOD will not like.
I am getting impatient with HIM sometimes.
And had I not lived experience of how lethal (or almost) it can be to consult other forces for assistance, I would probably be tempted to try it.
In fact, I have tried it – a lot! – before I got saved.
And that’s why I am not condemning anyone or looking down on anyone.
Not at all.
However, it is the beginning of the new year and we are all focusing on our goals, on what we would like to achieve or obtain…
And with this awareness of what is missing in our lives, the enemy will come knocking.
He will offer a “short cut”, a “quick fix”, a “non-straining means to reach our goal” or he will offer fool-proof methods to get there, only that we need to book 20 courses and buy 35 dvds and be initiated and then counseled by the specialists.
He will teach us how to “manifest” our goals.
And will tell us we are stupid and have not had enough courses if our goals don’t come to pass.
Long story short: he will try to sell us something he doesn’t have.
Power.
Healing.
Miracles.
Peace.
And since I have fallen into all his traps before I got saved, I consider it my duty to warn others not to make the same mistakes and not to fall into the traps of the enemy – even if everybody around you does, you can still be smart and strong – not out of your own strength, but GOD will help you, and HE will show you that it is all nonsense and that they are all just puppets.
My friend,
Please don’t fall into the traps of the enemy.
Please watch out for the signs.
GOD’s word and HIS teachings are absolutely free of charge!
You don’t have to take any courses to be close to GOD.
You don’t need to buy any books, only one book, the bible, and you can even download this book everywhere on the internet for free.
You don’t have to pay a pastor to preach to you – it is his job.
And yes, I believe we are supposed to tithe and give 10% of our income, but if you don’t believe this, you can still access so many sermons and teachings online for free…
When it costs (unless it is an admin fee which covers room rent and materials or something), it is most likely not from GOD.
And when it speaks of you having the power to reach whatever you want, then, you should also be very alert, because thar’s not what GOD says, but it is exactly what made mankind fall and what made the devil be thrown out of heaven.
Yes, GOD has given us power.
And HE will also help us to reach goals and HE will answer our prayers if what we are asking for is according to HIS will.
So it is important that we understand and always remember that all we have and all we will receive comes from HIM and through HIM and that HE made us and is our MASTER and has our fate in HIS hands, HE decided when we came and HE will decide when we go, HE decides if we are rich or poor, of good or of poor health, single or married, successful or failing all the time – there is literally nothing in our lives which is not depending on HIS grace and mercy.
Only when we understand and remember this will we be in line with HIS will and HIS word and HIS plan for our life.
My friend, if you have read this and are confused and are not sure if JESUS Is truly LORD over your life or if your life belongs to the enemy, please give your life to JESUS today! Or if you have found from reading this article that you have strayed and want to re-dedicate your life to HIM, here is an example of what you can pray in your heart right now, if you want to make JESUS LORD over your life:
“Dear Heavenly Father, I acknowledge and confess that I have not lived my life for YOU to this day, but have been living for myself and in sin and that is wrong. Please forgive me of all of my sins just as I forgive others. I need YOU in my life; I want YOU in my life.
I recognize the completed work of YOUR only begotten Son JESUS CHRIST in giving HIS life for me on the cross, I believe in my heart JESUS is LORD and that HE was raised from the dead and ask for YOUR forgiveness, which YOU have made freely available to me through this sacrifice.
Come into my life now, LORD!
Take up residence in my heart and be my KING, my LORD, and my SAVIOUR!
From this day forward, I will no longer be controlled by sin, or the desire to please myself, but I will follow YOU all the days of my life. Those days are in YOUR hands.
I ask this Jesus name.
Amen.”

The next thing to do is get a bible and find a church where you can receive further instructions, so that your new life in THE LORD may prosper and that you will become who HE made you to be.
