Are dreams for real?

Dear friends,

What’s your concept/ understanding of what dreams are and how they come about?

Dreams, their causes, their meanings and how they play out during our sleep have been the topic of research and there are many psychological theories and efforts out there to explain the mystery of dreams and the many questions we have abut them. Most of them claim that our mind or our subconscious creates them:
“Dreams are stories and images that our minds create while we sleep. They cab be entertaining, fun, romantic, disturbing, frightening, and sometimes bizarre.” (Medical News Today)
This study states further:
There are several theories about why we dream. Are dreams merely part of the sleep cycle, or do they serve some other purpose?
Possible explanations include:
– representing unconscious desires and wishes
– interpreting random signals from the brain and body during sleep
– consolidating and processing information gathered during the day
– working as a form of psychotherapy
From evidence and new research methodologies, researchers have speculated that dreaming serves the following functions:
– offline memory reprocessing, in which the brain consolidates learning and memory tasks and
supports and records waking consciousness
– preparing for possible future threats
– cognitive simulation of real life experiences, as dreaming is a subsystem of the waking default
network, the part of the mind active during daydreaming
– helping develop cognitive capabilities
– reflecting unconscious mental function in a psychoanalytic way
– a unique state of consciousness that incorporates experience of the present, processing of the past, and preparation for the future
– a psychological space where overwhelming, contradictory, or highly complex notions can be brought together by the dreaming ego, notions that would be unsettling while awake, serving the need for psychological balance and equilibrium
The article concludes:
“Much that remains unknown about dreams. They are by nature difficult to study in a laboratory, but technology and new research techniques may help improve our understanding of dreams.”

So that makes it very clear that science has no clue what dreams are and why we dream.

Where could we gain more knowledge about dreams then?

What does the bible say about them?

Dreams are not unknown to GOD and the word dream is mentioned 74 times in the bible.
It seems to have been as common in the ancient days as it is today that people are seeking the meaning of their dreams and many ancient kings had the desire to have their dreams interpreted by their prophets or magicians and many times, GOD foretold the future of a king and/or his kingdom in a dream. There are many examples for GOD using dreams to speak to people, to let them know what is going to happen in their lives, to give them explanations and deeper meanings and to reveal the truth to them.
Let’s take Joseph, for instance. Not talking about Joseph, Mary’s husband, although GOD spoke to him in a dream as well. I mean Joseph, the son of Jacob and Rachel in the Old Testament. Some call him Joseph the dreamer. And as we remember, he dreamt about the future of his family. His brothers hated him for what GOD had told him in his dream and he got into great trouble for telling them his dream… was sold as a slave, thrown into prison and then, he miraculously ended up as the prime minister of Egypt with Pharao being the only man in the country who had more power than him. Long story short (you can read the entire account in Genesis 37-51), his dream came true and he ruled over his family in the end, just as GOD had planned it for him and revealed it to him.

And in regards to the purpose or definition of a prophet, GOD specifically mentions the use of dreams in

Numbers 12:6
And he said, Hear now my words,: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.

This is one of the purpose and use of dreams in the bible, prophetic dreams.
In fact, that’s the use all the accounts about dreams tell us about, either foretellings of the future, revelations of truth or warnings in dreams.

The bible does not tell about someone having dreams for any of the above mentioned “psychological” reasons.
Now, some of you may say that these reasons may not have been relevant to the HOLY SPIRIT when HE wrote the bible… but that’s not what I believe.
Just as I believe that the evolution theory is not in the bible because it is not how the world was created, I believe that mental illness is not in the bible, because the real reason for people having these symptoms is in there, mentioned when people are described as having devils, and “psychological reasons” for dreams are not mentioned because dreams are not that.

This belief may seem crazy to you, my friend.

Just as crazy as it may seem to you when I tell you that I believe that witches, warlocks, demons and the devil himself are real – just like GOD is real.

But if you had experienced what I have experienced, especially at night during your sleep, you might think differently about it.

If you have or had ever been visited by someone or something in your dreams, you will / would know that dreams are not made by your own mind.

At least not all kinds of dreams.

Me, I consider myself an expert in things which can happen at night during sleep, as I have been plagued by a warlock manipulating / controlling / visiting my dreams for more than 8 years now.
I still have dreams sent or manufactured or caused or spoken or cast by him – don’t know how to call it as I don’t know exactly how he causes me to have them… all I know is I still have them sometimes.
And what I also know is that they are not from GOD and that they are not made by my own mind, by no part of it.
Plus, I know that they are not good, although they are very pleasant sensually, that I do not want them at all, and I am normally extremely frustrated when I realize I had one of them.
They are mainly and mostly about some sort of sexual sin.
I am either having sex with someone in my dream, someone who doesn’t necessarily look like this warlock/guru/satanist, but I know that it’s him… or I am masturbating… or kissing someone… some sort of fornication, which I am doing my best to avoid when not sleeping, so the sin kind of haunts me and there is nothing I can do to withstand the temptation as I am sleeping and my guards are down.
At least most of the time, I am powerless against it – sometimes, I am able to rebuke them in my dreams or call on Jesus or plead the blood – these are the dreams when I win, when “they / he / it” is unsuccessful and has to leave… this is what I need to get better at, defeating the enemy not only while I am awake, but also when asleep – GOD help me!

I won’t go deeper into what is happening in these dreams at this point, I may do so in another post, I am more after getting my point across on this occasion that dreams are REAL and not some sort of random nonsense our mind makes up.

I am serious, friends.

Why do you think everyone is so fascinated by dreams and wants to learn their interpretation?

Do you really believe that there would be such a fuzz about dreams in the New Age Scene – or that the topic would touch anyone so deeply – if they didn’t have any meaning, no power at all?

What we need to be aware of, friends, is that not only GOD is using dreams, but the devil, too.

And he can.

There are tons of books, seminars, teachings and articles out there and so called “lucid dreaming” is a discipline in the New Age Movement, aka the occult.
This discipline is about learning how to control your dreams as they are believing that dreams create our reality.
This is the stage prior to (or additional to) astral travel and out of body experiences where witches/warlocks leave their bodies and travel somewhere in the spirit realm.
They learn how to transcend our reality and enter other realms, such as dreams or minds or even physical houses of other people.
They promote it as being magic.
And everyone is so fascinated by what they can do and everyone wants to learn how to do it.

But what nobody talks about is HOW they are doing it.

If you want to leave the natural realm and enter anything outside of it, the supernatural, you cannot do it with your physical body or your own logically thinking mind or your own 5 senses.

You need to do it spiritually, in the spirit, by a spirit, a spirit needs to help you.

Or let me put it that way: the entire realm outside our “real world” is controlled by spirits and they are in fact fighting over it – just like they are fighting over us, over our souls.

There are only 2 kinds of spirits out there.
Good and evil spirits.
The SPIRIT OF GOD, THE HOLY SPIRIT, and evil spirits, aka demons.

GOD does not want us to do these things, they are an abomination to HIM.
At the same time, HIS prophets can access supernatural powers, supernatural knowledge and they pass on supernatural messages (remember the “battle” between Moses and Aaron and Pharao’s soothsayers and magicians, they could do almost everything Moses and Aaron did, except in the end when Moses’s snake swallowed their snakes).
There is no doubt that these things are real.
And the bible also speaks about witches and sorcerers, demons, the devil… so it’s nothing new…

What I am trying to say is this: we need to learn to take authority over our dreams, because they are not “just dreams”, not just some crap our mind makes up while we are asleep, they are far more important than that. They are like a different realm, a world where a parallel life of ours exists, where we can be dominated by evil spirits, where we can even be married to someone else, a so-called spirit husband, have spirit children with them and this can cause our relationships in our “real life”, in the one we live when we are not sleeping, to fail.

If something feels strange now in you, if you think you may have a problem with “another life” in your dream world, you may have a spirit spouse. In regards to the topic here, dreams, this is a video I find helpful about how your dreams can indicate you may have a spirit spouse.

So what we need when we have this problem is deliverance.
Plus, we need to learn how to control our dreams and take authority over them.
How to put on the full armor of GOD before we go to sleep, how to dedicate our sleep to GOD, how to wake ourselves up when these dreams occur and then do spiritual warfare, rebuke whatever is visiting us in our dreams, plead the blood and command “it” to leave in the name of JESUS.

The more we dive into the word, the more warfare scripture we hide in our hearts, the more we are equipped to fight these battles and win them while we are sleeping, too, not just when we are awake and aware.

This is a war, friends.

The war is about our soul.
About every soul.
I am not 100% sure if GOD will let us get away with sin when it happens during our sleep as it has not been our fault, but I am 100% that the devil, the accuser, will use it to accuse us and also to prime and prepare us for more sin and for more lies, such as “now that you have already dreamt about this thing (this sin), you might as well do it”… we need to pray, friends!

This realm, our dreams, is an almost uncontested and undefended territory of the enemy, because we don’t know, we don’t listen and we don’t take our dreams as serious as they are!

Btw, this guru/warlock had a comment on his facebook page once a few years ago (when I was still is reading them regularly) when a girl had stated he had visited her the night before in her dreams and he confirmed…

Again, you may think this is crazy or you may even think I am crazy, but I am not writing these things to convince anyone… if you are firmly rooted in CHRIST and protected by HIS BLOOD and these things never happen to you, congratulations!
Just be aware that you need to stay close to GOD in order to keep this protection.
Some of us have to battle these things still – be it because we are not completely clean yet, be it because GOD wants us to learn how to fight them or be it that HE is allowing the devil to torment us for chastening or punishment….and then, when it is our task to fight them, we need to learn how!

I am writing about these things for 2 reasons:

1. to help those who are afflicted and affected by them
2. to warn those who might be tempted to dabble in the occult

So what’s the purpose or the goal of my message today?

It’s basically to tell you that there are so many deceptions out there.
Science, psychology in particular, is trying to explain many supernatural things, so that we will follow their theories instead of believing the TRUTH GOD has given us.

The entire truth of demonization for instance is the best example.
Friends, I am not trying to mock anyone.
I am trying to explain to you what I have learned.
I am COMING from this psychological perspective.
I WAS a therapist.
And I know that these things do NOT work.
On the contrary, they make things worse!

There is only one cure for mental illness: JESUS CHRIST.

GOD has given us a sound mind and only HE can give it back to us when it is disturbed.

Just like the physical health.

Not pills or surgery will cure you, only GOD can do that.

HE may USE a doctor or some medicine – but only GOD can give life, can restore health and that is the one and only reason why some people get healed and some don’t.

You may not agree with me.

On what I said about dreams or mental and physical health.

And I don’t even want you to agree with me.

I want you to do your own research, I want you to look for the truth yourself, I want you to seek it, seek GOD’s face, seek his wisdom, seek to hear from HIM and PRAY.

All I can do is give suggestions and share what I found and hope it will help someone.
When I was in deep trouble, I was glad I found some truth on the internet, found someone who had shared what I didn’t know at the time. I would not be alive today if I had not found material and information on the internet about JESUS CHRIST and about deliverance and about the truth.

It is with love and the hope that this will inspire, help, heal and bless you that I am sharing these things that I have found.
And I hope that you will be inspired and that you will find CHRIST and give your life to HIM if you have not done so.

Please, if you haven’t given your life to JESUS, don’t wait any longer!
You can say this prayer right where you are, right in this moment:

“Dear Heavenly Father, I acknowledge and confess that I have not lived my life for YOU to this day, but have been living for myself and in sin and that is wrong. Please forgive me of all of my sins just as I forgive others. I need YOU in my life; I want YOU in my life.
I recognize the completed work of YOUR only begotten Son JESUS CHRIST in giving HIS life for me on the cross, I believe in my heart JESUS is LORD and that HE was raised from the dead and ask for YOUR forgiveness, which YOU have made freely available to me through this sacrifice.
Come into my life now, LORD!
Take up residence in my heart and be my KING, my LORD, and my SAVIOR!
From this day forward, I will no longer be controlled by sin, or the desire to please myself, but I will follow YOU all the days of my life. Those days are in YOUR hands.
I ask this Jesus name.
Amen.”

The next thing to do is get a bible and find a church where you can receive further instructions, so that your new life in THE LORD may prosper and that you will become who HE made you to be.
