No enchantment…

Dear friends,

I am sure you’ve pondered on GOD’s promises to you before… and if you learned how to pray, you have most likely prayed some of them “back” to HIM…?

At least that’s how I learned to pray.

Or let me say, it is the way of praying that I found to be the most powerful, effective and also satisfying.

Not only because of the results, and the results are great and a lot greater  than those coming from many other ways to pray – at least that’s my experience.

I am not only talking about the results.

I find that this way of praying is also very gratifying in a sense of bringing us closer to HIM.

Don’t you think?

A little bit similar to what an “insider joke” does…
When you have an insider joke together with someone, it means that there is a level of closeness, some sort of memory the 2 (or more) of you share, which is special, a nice or funny memory and perhaps also a story which would not be suitable for the public to know for some reason or the other… am I right?

Well, it is similar with GOD and us, isn’t it?

HE was there.

I mean no matter what it was and when it happened, HE was there with us and NOBODY, I mean really and truly no other person knows us the way HE does.
When we pray to HIM in HIS words, we demonstrate and remind HIM that we, too, were there.
Were studying, were listening, were paying attention when HE shared HIS heart with us.

And we remember…

Perhaps, even though there are many, many believers out there in the world  –  thank GOD!! – but maybe, in this very moment when we tell HIM, we are in this very moment the only person on earth who remembers this specific thing he was talking about in HIS word.

Don’t you think HE will like that?

Of course, I am not talking about HIM as if I knew HIM or as if I was the only one who does –  that would be very presumptuous.

But I do know HIM a little, I try to know him more every day, like a friend, like a lover, whom I study and ask and observe as if my entire life depended upon it (which it does!) –  and also, HE made us in HIS image, so certain things about HIM, we do as well and can thus understand… so I would imagine (and think I know from experience) that HE likes it.

And why not do what is most effective and the wisest thing anyone can possibly do, because it is what HE said?

(By the way, it is not only what HE said, but also what HE did, because when JESUS was tempted by the devil in the wilderness, HE responded to every temptation with “it is written…” and then he quoted scripture –  this seems to be the best way to be victorious against the wiles of the enemy.

Ok then, suppose you have a “little” problem with witchcraft… like me… and suppose you want to get rid of it…

What do you think will work best?

Basically, it is a problem just like the other problems we have in our lives –  only a little different.

So what do you recommend doing when having to face a problem, an obstacle, something too big for you?

Well, we should take it to GOD, right?

And seek what HE says about it in HIS word –  yes?

Let’s take a look at the story in Numbers 23 then:

this chapter (and the ones before and after) are about the conquest THE LORD sent his people on after they had entered the Promised Land, and they had already defeated the Amorites when they were about to conquer Moab, when Balak, the king of the Moabites at the time, sent for help to Balaam, asking him to “curse me this people”.
Balaam though was a believer and inquired with THE LORD. And THE LORD told him what to do and what to say and no effort of Balak to bribe Balaam could be successful.
In fact, he answered with the famous quote in

Numbers 22:18
If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the word of the LORD my God, to do less or more.

and then in the next chapter, he explains that he cannot curse whom GOD has blessed and that GOD cannot lie and then he speaks the words I want to recommend us today:

 

Numbers 23:23
Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divinatoin against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought!
Behold, the people shall rise up as a great lion, and lift up himself as a young lion: he shall not lie down until he eat of the prey, and drink the blood of the slain.

And this is how the story ends… not exactly right away, but quite speedily afterwards…

The people of Israel are and stay blessed –  not only through the book of numbers, but throughout the entire bible –  and until this day!

Nothing has changed.

GOD never changes.

Neither do HIS promises.

And HE can still not lie!

That’s just one of the gazillions of great things about HIM.

And if HE said it, HE is going to do it.

So if you have this “little problem” mentioned above, speak to that thing and declare GOD’s truth over it, into it.

And then come back with a testimony…

I will keep you posted, friends, but I truly believe that I discovered a big thing of immense power here, the power GOD wants to give us – if only we can accept it and stop complaining, stop submitting to a power which is far smaller than GOD’s and stop giving in too soon and to easily.

We are children of the MOST HIGH, friends!

HE spoke the earth and everything on it into existence!

HIS word stands.

Israel and Jacob, that’s US!

This word is for US, friends!

And I declare and decree into your situation and into my own right here and right now:

For it is written, surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, what hath God wrought!
Behold, the people shall rise up as a great lion, and lift himself as a young lion: he shall not lie down until he eat of the prey and drink of the blood of the slain.

AMEN.

This will settle the case.

For sure.

Because GOD said it.

And we believe HIM – don’t we, my friend?

I hope and pray that this will inspire, bless and heal you. And that THE LORD will bless you richly in all areas of your life and that HE will shine HIS face upon you and keep you and bring you peace. in JESUS’ name I pray. AMEN.
