This post is about soul ties.
Is everyone aware of what they are and why they are formed and how we can avoid to “catch” one?
If so, I will probably not tell you anything new – if not, read on, PLEASE!!!!
As we all know, we are “beings” consisting of body, soul and spirit.
Hopefully we have given our lives to GOD and THE HOLY SPIRIT lives within us.

And even more hopefully, we’ve come across some teachings about biblical sexuality….?!
Sex is part of our lives and this was intended so by GOD.
However, sex is not supposed to be something that is just randomly and deliberately spread all over the world by anyone – we are supposed to have sex with our spouse.
We are even supposed to have only one spouse!
Why is that so?
GOD has given us sex or lovemaking as a gift to be enjoyed between husband and wife, and they are ideally coming into the union as virgins and during their lives, they ideally would not become intimate with anyone but their spouse.
We all know how far from the reality this “ideal” is – and each and every one of us knows how far they personally are from GOD’s desired standard – including myself!
When two people share the marriage bed and become intimate, the bible says “they become one flesh”.
This is designed and intended so by GOD.
I believe HE has intended this bond to become strengthened by intimacy, because HE knew that difficulties will come – as they do in every marriage!!! – and HE wanted to give husband and wife something which would bring them joy and bliss, so that they could recuperate and reconcile after a conflict and then, all these amazing feel-good-and-bonding-hormons would be released and they will make a fresh start and forget and overcome their differences.
And last but not least, of course, if it weren’t pleasurable to make love, people would be less likely to make babies, which is clearly what GOD wants us to do!
BUT, since it is designed so by GOD, when we have sexual intercourse with someone we are not married to, we will also “become one flesh” with them.
Regardless if the intimate contact lasted for one night, one week, one year – or a lifetime.
And we will be connected from soul to soul with them, there is a merging taking place, as the word says “become one”, that always means two things who were separate now “melt” together and form something new – similar to making caramel – the sugar in the pan melts and then with the melted butter and the cream, caramel is created – only that the “creation” from ungodly sex is everything else but sweet!
However, what they have in common is that the “original products” don’t exist anymore and it is impossible to reverse the process.
Let me translate this to you:
When we become one flesh with someone, it means on a soul level, that a transfer is taking place, a transfer of love (ideally) and of good intentions, good memories, good emotions and good spirits both partners carry, but since they become one, there is also an exchange of their negative emotions, memories, experiences, wounds and yes, if they have been entered by any evil spirits, they will enter the other partner as well.
And in case the 2 people having sex had sex with any other person before – as I said, no matter for how long, so this includes sex workers, one night stands and flings!!! – the other partner will also receive the 3rd person’s evil spirits, bad emotions, wounds and negative experiences.
There’s nothing we can do about it, because GOD intended it so.
So whenever we connect with someone physically, we also connect with them on a soul level and this is how and why a soul tie has been formed.
There’s a lot more to it and the teachings go a lot deeper, but for today, let’s keep it simple to fully understand the concept – and again, this is for those of you who haven’t been taught about this before.
The bad news is, the more soul ties we have, the more defiled we are in our current spiritual stage we are in.
And many negative consequences in our lives can come from the soul ties we have formed.
A little similar to having caught an STD from every person we slept with.
Only that the disease is spiritual.
If you have nightmares, unwanted visitations at night, either in your dreams or when you are awake, if spirit beings come to rape you and have sex with you, if you are being fed in your dreams, if you are running away and someone or something keeps following you etc…. all sorts of nightmares, negative thoughts and feelings (including during the day), which can then lead to feelings of powerlessness, depression, hopelessness, unworthyness, perhaps you’re even contemplating to take your own life - or you are trying to escape these things with drugs and / or alcohol……… this is serious stuff, friends!
And in many cases, for those who aren’t aware of how they caught these “spiritual STD’s”, they will either believe they are crazy or that there is no hope and that they will never be able to live a “normal” life!
PLUS, soul ties often come with an obsessive feeling towards the person who has given us these “issues”, so that heartbreak and frustration come with them almost every time and make things a lot worse, and they also keep us from forming new, healthier relationships with someone else.
That’s the bad news.
And that’s how soul ties are formed and how they can affect us.
The good news is that soul ties can be broken and the person suffering from them can be delivered.
JESUS can break ALL ties and can free us from ALL bondage – and only HE is able to do this for us!
